Friedrich Engels: An Appreciation

The IIRE is pleased to announce new, low prices for Friedrich Engels-A Critical Centenary Appreciation, a special issue of the US journal Science & Society edited by Joost Kircz, chairperson of the IIRE Board, and IIRE Fellow Michael Löwy. It consists of papers submitted to two different international conferences last year, one held in Wuppertal, Germany (Engels' birthplace), and the other at the University of Paris 10, Nanterre, France. Among the articles are contributions by IIRE Fellows Josette Trat on 'Engels and the Emancipation of Women', Joost Kircz on 'Engels and Natural Science', and Michael Löwy on 'Friedrich Engels on Religion and Class Struggle'.
