Arco Iris Diferentes

'Different Rainbows', the anthology on Third World lesbian/gay liberation that Martin Duberman of the City University of New York called 'a unique, long-needed, and immensely valuable book', has now been published in Spanish under the title "Arco iris diferentes" by Siglo XXI Editores in Mexico City, which says "it is impossible to exaggerate the importance of this work". Edited by IIRE Director Peter Drucker, the book includes articles by gay liberation pioneer Dennis Altman, long-time Latin American activist Margaret Randall, and articles on Mexico, the Brazilian Workers Party, Latin American lesbianism, post-apartheid South Africa, India, Kenya and China.
